Halloween

The big day was finally here. It seem to take a while to get here this year, i think because its the start of the "holiday" season and this year Cameron kinda knows whats going on. Thursday was school and Cameron got to dress up to go Trick-or Treating at the church office. He seemed so happy that I was there and kept telling everyone "that's my Mom" so I really felt special. He didn't even get upset when we discovered I left his Sword at home and said "that's ok Mommy I don't need it."

Tonight was wonderful, we took the kids over to Grandma and Papa's house to let them trick or treat there first. The kids we very excited although I think Riley just loved the attention, where as Cameron was excited about the candy.

I thought it was funny when my little skunk wanted to play in the trash!

We missed Grammie and Yoda tonight because they are on a cruise and Uncle Kent because he was working.......we love you and can't wait for you to see our pictures! After Grandma and Papa's house we headed off to our friends church for Trunk-or-Treat. Riley and Cameron were so great wandering from car to car not sure what to do but by the end Cameron got the hang of it and he really enjoyed passing out the candy to the kids that came to our cars. Riley was a hit. People were stopping and asking me if they could take a picture of her. I could not believe the response people had to her it was so cute, she would just smile and wave.
Riley and Daddy both stinkers!
Payton and Landon's "GoGo", Riley loves her

Riley and her buddy the Monkey.
Here is a picture of my little Pirate he was awesome!
I have never seen her so happy for so long in a public place. It was great to see my little girls personality shine, she loved the attention!
Landon was trying to give Riley a kiss here. I think Riley just really wanted his sucker.

We had a wonderful time and are so thankful for healthy children, a loving family, and wonderful friends!

As promised here are a few pictures of Cameron in his Halloween costume it is called the "Captain Jack" costume but unfortunately he looks more like an 18th century British Soldier. Obviously it does not matter to him.....he thinks he is Captain Feathersword the Friendly Pirate!! He is really excited about Halloween and can't wait to show off his costume.

here is a little video of him from the camera sideways

99 Balloons

I don't really have to say anything about this video my friend Taylor posted

Feeling a bit like a homebody lately

Hanging around the house

We have been enjoying some relaxing time at the house lately because things are about to get really busy for us starting....well tomorrow. I went to the Dr. today and everything in normal and now I start going every two weeks! I can't believe its already that time, this pregnancy is going very fast!

Last night before bed we had some funny times with Riley and her sunglasses.

she really enjoys putting them on and seeing us laugh at her.

Then something that shocked me was when Cameron let Riley sit next to him and play trains. Usually it always ends in a fight but last night it was really cute

Tonight after dinner I was getting the kids stuff ready so Ryan could take them to the gym and they were sitting next to each other on the couch watching The Wiggles and I could not miss this opportunity to snag a few pics. It was then I realized how much my kids are starting to look alike. They had the same blank expression....
They both managed to say cheese to mommy making sure not to miss one second of their precious show....
and then Cameron did something so cute....and then there is the video of Riley dancing

Pumpkin patch and bloody lip

We went to the Hall's Pumkin Patch in Colleyville yesterday. Ryan's Mom came with us and we met Allison her kids and her Mom. I had put new batteries in the camera BUT when we got there it turns out they were old, so we wont have pictures until I get Allisons from here. We were there maybe 15 minutes when Riley busted her lip! I was behind her helping her climb a tree house type thing and she fell on her face and bit her lip. Her tooth is a little loose and her lip is hanging but she continued playing (surprisingly)!! The kids all had lots of fun picking up pumpkins and taking turns pulling the wagon. We enjoyed dinner afterwards went home to wash all the hay off and then went right to sleep! Pictures to be up soon!

Weekly Gymnastics

Well today Ryan was able to go with us to Cameron's gymnastics so i got to take the camera along to take some pictures. Cameron loves his gymnastic teacher Mrs. Jen and always does his best to listen. he tries so hard to stand still but his body just always has to be moving. He says his favorite part about the class is jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the rope. He is always so enthusiastic and yells "ta-da" after he lands his "tricks"

Nice day at the park

Today was a great day. Pete Delkus said this would be one of the last chances of the year to enjoy the outdoors so we did! I picked Cameron up from school and we headed off to Kidsville park. Cameron was off and running and made new friends of course. He had lots of fun going through the maze and climbing the ropes. He was tough to get a picture of because he is so fast! Riley loved being able to go where she pleased and wandered around laughing at herself and the other kids. I am proud to say when it was time to go both kids came with me without a fight...some days you just never know but I have learned the power of consequences ; )

Been wanting to do this for a while so here it goes.....

Today was a good day despite me not feeling well. I took the kids to Costco for our monthly trip, we ate lunch there and when we left my cart was so full of diapers and wipes (four boxes!!) we lost the yogurt drinks all over the parking lot. My little helper Cameron picked up all of the drinks. We came back home and tried on Riley's Halloween costume for the first time. I wanted to make sure that she was comfortable and not screaming while wearing it and I actually think she liked it! I swear when you think your kids are going to act a certain way they surprise you!

Cameron's costume is being "altered" for him so as soon as I get that back I will have pics up
